During Leavitt's press conference, he calls a victim "tragically mentally ill," slams a fellow SRA perpetrator, and outs himself as a cannibal. He declares that this "tragically mentally ill" victim's assertions were "so outlandish, and so ludicrous" that the Special Victims Task Force "refused to even interview any of the fifteen or twenty people who were alleged to have committed these crimes." What is a "Special Victims Task Force" for if they don't even investigate the victims' allegations?!?

Note how Leavitt refers to the victim as "tragically mentally ill" repeatedly, as though he has rehearsed it. Then, consider how these perpetrators cause the mental illness in the first place, and then use this fact to declare the victim unreliable.
